Today we will enjoy a journey full of hills, rivers, dam, forests on the extended geographic region of Chotanagpur Platue – Post breakfast, first reach Panchet Dam on river Damodar, a part of DVC project, one of the biggest irrigation projects in India – Panchet Dam was the last of the four multi-purpose dams included in the first phase of the Damodar Valley Corporation – It was constructed across the Damodar River at Panchet in Dhanbad district in the Indian state of Jharkhand – From there visit Garpanchkot, an historic place with lots of natural forest land – Garh Panchkot is a ruined fort located in the eastern part of India at the foothills of Panchet Hill in the district of Purulia – The ruins of the Panchkot Palace are a silent testimony to the Bargi attack during the 18th century – After that drive to the hill top of Beharinath Hills – You will find a sacreed temple of Lord Siva on the hill top – Enjoy the charming natural beauty of a natural lake on the Beharinath hill top – Biharinath offers a pollution-free green surroundings where water is panacea – This place has hills, dense forests with abundant flora and fauna, spring, water bodies, Damodar River, and a renowned Shiva temple – Return home by evening – Overnight stay at Joychandi Hill.

Post breakfast drive to Murguma Dam – Murguma Dam or Lake or Reservoir is located in the north of Begunkodar within Jhalda Block and is about 55 kms from Purulia town – It is a tribal village in Purulia District, situated on the border of Purulia (West Bengal) and Jharkhand – The dam is on the tributary of Kangsabati river - Murguma is very beautiful place for the nature lovers – Wildlife lovers may enjoy to witness of hard of elephants – The rustic woodland view will definitely enchant you – Then drive to Ajodhya Hills – Ajodhya Hills, is a small plateau with hilly surroundings located in the Purulia district of the state West Bengal – It is the easternmost part of the Chhotanagpur Plateau and extended part of Eastern Ghats range – Highest peak of Ajodhya Hills is Chamtaburu – Enjoy the drive while you are climbing up to the hill top – The surrounding dense forest and the probability of sighting elephants and the big cats are very high in these region – Then drive to Pakhi Pahar – The Bird?s Hill or „Pakhi Pahar' draws rock climbing enthusiasts – The hill has been painstakingly sculpted by a group of artists to create about 65 birds and is worth a visit – Post Pakhi Pahar we will drive to Mukutmanipur Dam – Check in hotel by evening – Overnight stay at Mukutmanipur

Post breakfast visit Mukutmanipur Dam and its surroundings – This a project on river Kangsavati – The second biggest earth dam of India is located in Mukutmanipur – Green forests surround the vast bluish tract of water, and the hillocks are picturesque – The place is very famous for its superb natural beauty – The undulating terrain along the southern edge of the Kangsabati water reservoir spreads as a three-dimensional necklace in green and terracotta - Approximately two kilometers from the lake is the Bangopalpur Reserve Forest, a home of many species of flora and fauna – Four kilometres from the dam is the ancient town of Ambikanagar, once an important place of pilgrimage for Jains – However, a flood destroyed most of what remained in 1898 – Mukutmanipur is home to a 10.8 km-long man-made mud-banked fresh water barrage – It canalises Kangshabati and Kumari rivers into the three drought affected districts of Bankura, Purulia and Midnapore for irrigation in the summer months – Post Mukutmanipur drive to Sutan Forest & Hill - This is a beautiful tourist place with shades of Sal, Piyal, Mahua, Palash and Shimul, about 60 km away from Bankura via Ranibandh – This is also the homeland of the Santhal, Munda and Bhumijas – It is an ideal place to spend a short leave – The surrounding is calm and peaceful with hillocks – It becomes charming and colorful with palash and krishnachura flowers in the day time and the enchanting tune of madal played by the villagers at night – The full-moon nights are mesmerizing – Wild elephant, Deer, hog and partridges are frequently seen in the forest – Post Sutan we will drive to Jhilimili Reservoir – A travel from Mukutmanipur to Jhilimili offers a magnificent revelation to impressive forest of changeable heights on both sides on the route – The watchtower at Jhilimili offers a commanding view of the surrounding area – Jhilimili is a quiet place, and makes for a pleasant getaway for city-dwellers – The Kangsabati flows through this forest and its banks are an ideal picnic spot – A watch tower is located on the bank of the river – It offers a mind-blowing, panoramic view of the surroundings – You can take a idyllic stroll along the edge of the river or simply sit back and listen to the melodious singing of birds – Then drive to Belpahari and then Kankrajhore – Kankrajhor-Belpahari is a paradise in the tropical, hilly forestlands of Midnapore – It comprises 9,000 hectares of hardwood trees including kusum, shaal, segun or teak, mahua and akashmani – Cashewnut, coffee and oranges are cultivated at Kankrajhor – Kankrajhor-Belpahari region comes under Jangalmahal Tourism Circuit – It is a favorite destination for people who love forests – The ancient temples, royal palaces, cultural feats of folk music and tribal dance, makes it an extremely attractive destination for tourists who enjoy discovering the unknown and unaffected beauty of nature in this area – Return home by evening – Overnight stay at Mukutmanipur.

"Wakeup little early in the morning – Drive to Joyrambati and Kamarpukur – The main temple of Joyrambati village belongs to Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Math, and named as ""SRI SRI MATRI MANDIR"" dedicated to Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, the spiritual consort of Sri Ramakrishna – The temple was constructed on the birthplace of Ma Sarada Devi – The deity in the Sri Sri Matri Mandir is positioned exactly on the spot where Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was born in 22 December,1853 – The Holy Mother's Temple is consecrated on 19 April 1923 by Saradananda Swami on Akshay Tritiya day and he placed Holy Mother's oil paintings in the temple which was replaced by a white marble statue of Holy Mother in April 1954 – Kamarpukur is adorned with the beauty of nature and evergreens, that Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was born in 1836 in a poor brahmin family – With his advent and on account of the frequent visits of his disciples and devotees, this hamlet has become a place of pilgrimage – Thousands visit it every year from the various parts of the world and get spiritually refreshed and elevated – Through the help of the devotees and the management, and of the monks of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, the beautiful temple of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, with his marble statue installed in it, was built in 1951 at Kamarpukur – With the construction of guest houses, a library, a dispensary and schools and the re-excavation of the tank called Haldarpukur, as also with the development of the surroundings, the place has really become one of the beauty-spots in the whole locality – After completing the visit to both the places we will drive towards Kolkata – Drop at your home by late evening – Our tour ends here with a sweet memory and a dream to join in Eastern Heavens once again."
